Here we reach at our workplace and the park is HUGE.

cabins by the side for twin sharing. we wanted the first cabin but the condition inside is very bad. infested with bugs and air con dropped out. hence we move to the current room.

And then WITHOUT our luggage, we cant do anything in our room, so we went to look for dinner, and to walmart! (pictures of room were after we got luggage of cos)

thing with this town is, its so freaking non city like, although the locals keep telling us ppl will flood in in 2 weeks time for the theme park and the lake george, i still refuse to believe them until i actually see them, and we'll see..

And then, theres orientation the next day, getting uniforms, training and blah blah blah, untillllll HAHA, you guys will never believe I did this, NEVER, the one person who will-get-giddy and motion-sickness at almost everywhere, ME, i freaking did it

SKYCOASTER

u free fall from 175 feet and just swing back and forth until it slows down. u fall like bungee, feels like shy-diving, and have some sort of roller coaster feel to it? and why did I know how else to describe the feeling? Thats cause, dear friends, the first day I was sent to this ride to train, I did like 2 times, and the 2nd day, 4 times!

In just 2 days, i did 6 times, SO OMG. I dont believe it either, you have any idea how high that WAS???? u have to pull the ripcord yourself to release it and then u just come vertically down like bungee, IT FREAKING FEELS LIKE COMMITTING SUICIDE!

also when vivian and some other Singaporeans who came by to be our guinea pigs while we train, YES, we need people to constantly to fly cause parks not open yet and we ourselves already went countless times, the trainers went like 10 plus times, they are SO USED to it, i dont understand how.. haha

Anyway, the story is, me leona and betty were supposed to be trained in the swan boats (haha) but the 4 china kids sent to sky coaster couldnt get on with the training, and apparently, it waas sooo bad and we were switched and BOY, im so glad it happened.

BUT, the group of people there, were so pissed off with the china kids that they trained us so harshly, and it was SUCH a bad day, and to not let them feel SINGPOREANS are damn hamji, WE WENT TO FLY,
i wassssssssss sooooo scared, but its really FUN!

This ride is run by 4 positions
1) the flight suite person: who suit ppl up for the ride
2) Expediter: who brings the flyers in and out of the flight area, as well as do the winching and launch bridle

3) Assistant controller: who SERIOUSLY operates everything from buckling them up to getting them ready and

4) the controller: who basically oversees everything and check everything is in order before flight.

Number 3 and 4 basically are like guys job, they handle all the carabiners, the launch release system, the launch cables, launch bridle, and after training for them for the past 3 days, TODAY is the 4th day, and being the only ride in the park that requires official certification to control, I FREAKING PASSED THE TEST today!!! yayyayayayayayayya!

and I scored full for written! I was so scared in the bluebox while shes watching, cause theres seriously SO MUCH things to hook, so much instructions to say, Oh and the landing was the TOUGHEST!

And soo, today finally marks the day we officially have a skycoaster crew, 8 of us.

my supervisor Katie gave me a hug and I was like, I FEEL LIKE CRYING LAH, after 3 days, we did it man :)

you have NO IDEA how proud of myself I feel now, it was so stressful we almost wanted to give up halfway, and giving to americans instructions as ASIANS, OMG, half the time, they're not listening and they go like "I dont understand what she's saying", i feel so damn insulted can.. but we passed it, so that proved something right? haha.



Lastly, I hope YOU people actually bother reading this, cause i seriously AM thinking of giving up blogging.. and ilyas dont pretend, i know you love ur life without me :)
